Workplace Exposure Limits

Recently released statistics by the HSE for the period April 2023 to March 2024 highlights a sharp increase in work-related mental health issues across the UK.  Stress, anxiety and depression now affect workers at a rate not seen before, this growing number of cases has consequences for both employees and employers.  Some significant effects include:

Reduced productivity due to taking leave for stress, anxiety or burnout.

Increased financial cost from reduced working hours and increased recruitment expenses.

Lower staff morale, teams experience additional stress and pressure when colleagues are absent for long periods of time.

Legal and reputational risks, employers have a legal responsibility to ensure a mentally health workplace under UK employment law.

We offer a range of classroom, live online or e-learning options for mental health training.  By training managers and supervisors to recognise and sign post employees who may be suffering to suitable resources this can lead to a happier and healthier workplace.
