A more sustainable future…
At Safety360, we believe that being a responsible business starts with the small choices we make every day, how we treat our people, how we use our time, and how we give back to our community. Sustainability isn’t just a box to tick for us; it’s something we try to live and breathe in everything we do.
Little Changes, Big Impact
For us, sustainability is about people just as much as the planet. By investing in our team, improving work-life balance, volunteering in our community, and finding clever ways to reduce waste, we’re proud to play our part in building a more positive, sustainable future.
Growing Together Through Upskilling
We’re big believers in helping our team learn, grow, and reach their full potential. That’s why upskilling is such a huge part of what we do. From first aid refreshers to leadership training and new technology skills, we make sure everyone has the chance to keep developing.
Not only does this make our business stronger — it means our people feel valued, confident, and supported to do their best work. A team that keeps learning is a team that keeps improving, and that benefits everyone.
Working Towards a Four-Day Week
We’re currently working towards introducing a four-day working week, and we couldn’t be more excited about it! We want to give our team more time to rest, recharge, and spend with their families, while still delivering the same great service to our clients.
A shorter week doesn’t just help with work-life balance or as, as we prefer life-work balance, it also means fewer commutes, less fuel use, and a smaller carbon footprint. It’s a win-win for people and the planet.
Giving Back to the Community
Every year, our team sets aside time to volunteer in local primary schools, teaching children the basics of first aid. These sessions are all about giving kids the confidence to stay calm and know what to do in an emergency — things like calling for help, treating small cuts, and keeping themselves and others safe.
It’s one of the most rewarding things we do. The children love it, the teachers appreciate the support, and our team always comes back smiling.
Reducing Waste, Helping Animals
We also do our best to make sure nothing goes to waste. We try and recycle or reuse anything we use, along with donating any first aid products that have expired or can’t be used for training to local animal shelters. While they’re no longer suitable for people, they’re incredibly useful for caring for injured animals.
It’s a simple way to keep more out of landfill while helping some furry friends at the same time — and we love that.
