Fire safety arrangements should be reviewed regularly to ensure that they are suitable and sufficient to control the risk of fire. Measures should include arrangements to ensure;
Fire alarms and detection systems are working and tested.
Fire risk assessment is regularly reviewed by a competent person and update who changes occur to layout, processes or people
Fire extinguishers are serviced and in the correct locations.
Fire blankets are located in kitchens.
Escape routes are clear and well-marked.
Fire Doors are operable and not propped open.
Evacuation plans are current and communicated to all staff
Fire drills are conducted routinely.
Training is up to date for staff with appointed and trained fire marshals
Signage is clearly visible and meets regulations
Fire logbook containing records of alldrills, alarm tests, extinguisher checks, etc
