Ladder Safety

Work at height is often only considered in terms of those working from high access methods such as scaffolds, mobile elevated work platforms, towers and similar. 

Regularly overlooked is those working from a ladder or a stepladder, to reach the top of a filling cabinet for example. The HSE alongside the Ladder Association created guidance document LA455 Safe Use of Ladders and Stepladders which is a short detailed document that includes what should be considered prior to and when working from stepladders and ladders.
